Achieving a cleaner home shouldn’t have to cost you big bucks. Store-bought cleaners are not only expensive but also expose you to harsh chemicals.
There are cheaper and eco-friendlier options that you can make with every day kitchen items that you normally keep stocked in your cupboards. There’s very little baking soda, vinegar, lemon juice, and good old water can’t fix.
Here are 3 easy cleanser recipes you can make at home:
Greasy Stove Filters?
In a large pot, bring water to a rolling boil. Pour a glass full of baking soda. Soak stove filter for a few minutes until you pull it out of the water clean. Do this every month to keep your stove in tip top shape and working 100%.
Stubborn Carpet Stains?
Pour a glass of vinegar into a clear plastic bottle, followed by a glass of club soda, a glass of dish soap, and a glass of lemon juice. Replace the plastic cap with a spray head and voila! You now have a homemade stain remover that works really well!
Dirty Tile Grout?
Mix baking soda, lemon juice, vinegar and water. Use this foamy mixture to scrub clean dirty grout lines. It’ll make your tile floors and walls look like they were just installed yesterday!
Sounds like something you can do? Of course!
